"Our feelings impel us toward the maximum effort of reasoning, and our reason purifies our feelings." Bertolt Brecht.

My work explores the language of painting to describe personal views within a universal context. Current themes research the history of human experience and understanding of nature. The conception of our world is a largely contested debate between creation theorists and evolutionists which echoes the Classical and Romantic debate of the awe of natural beauty being rationalised into ideal mathematical equations.

The work is expressive of spiritual experiences gained through acknowledgement of natural beauty. These feelings are translated into a painting process which becomes a form of worship.
